The confirmation that Jessica liked her was nice. Not that she didn't think Jessica would forgive her and still want to be friends if she didn't like her, but this seemed to be a different kind of 'like'. Like-like if they were going to be all First Year about it. With guys it was pretty easy to tell if they liked you, but with girls (or at least with Jess) it was a bit trickier.
