"I really hope something interesting happens," Valkyrie said, the words sort of rushing out all at once. It wasn't really the most considerate thing to hope for, some kind of trouble, but she felt a bit on edge holding it in, like she wasn't sure if that made her a bad person.

"Is that bad? I feel like it might be bad, but I just... I am not used to living the quiet life on an island. That was my life the first 12 years of my life and I wasn't a fan of it."
