Valkyrie wasn't sure if Jess was staring at her chest or just sort of spacing out. Either one was a possibility although Valkyrie kind of hoped that it was the former, especially considering that Jess was still straddling her.

When Jess just leaned over and kissed her forehead she felt her entire body relax. Sort of, because Jess still felt and looked amazing and Valkyrie really wanted to do... things, but Jess didn't freak out about the forewarning and that was super good. Yes, definitely super good.

"I want you to know," she said, smiling as the other girl rested her forehead on Valkyrie's. "That it is taking all my considerable willpower right now not to slide my hands up under your clothes. Or roll you over and pin your hands above your head and kiss you."
